Walking Anyone?

Going walking is one of the activities I love to do. Most of the time, I go walking in the neighborhood. For some reason, it does not feel like something I have to force myself to do, maybe because I enjoy it so much. It is a lot easier when it doesn’t take so much convincing like when I have to go for a workout in the gym.

What’s more, I had no idea that taking a thirty-minute walk everyday had so many benefits. It not only builds your cardiovascular system, it burns calories. I was reading an article by Dr. Don Colbert, a renowned health and nutritional expert, and he recommended a thirty-minute walk everyday to one of his patients, and she lost fifty pounds in one year. Drinking Water

waterWhen it comes to water many of us would rather have a soda pop or juice. However, water is essential to the human body as it is made of 58% to 78% water depending on the body weight. Additionally, it also helps provide more oxygen to our brain when we drink water. It thins the blood which makes the blood flow more efficiently. It clears out toxins and flushes out any harmful chemicals in our body.

In the beginning, it was hard for me to drink water unless I was eating something. I tried putting bottles of water everywhere in the house so I would pick one up and drink. It did not work. Then I bought half a gallon of water and thought to myself that finishing this amount everyday should not be a problem. It wasn’t easy, but it was achievable.

God’s Love

Love is an expression of God that shows grace and mercy. God’s love transcended through his son, and the love we share is a reflection of our relationship to God and the ones we love.

We have all heard of Eros and Agape type of love. Each one is closely observed throughout our society. God shows grace and mercy, and therefore, we are to share the same to the ones we love. God is merciful because it is totally underserved and graceful because it is freely given. Love is the highest creative force in all relationships.
