When you say someone’s name, make their name feel safe in your mouth.
Don’t give too many details unless asked in any given situation.
Think before you speak; don’t be wise in your own eyes.
Don’t correct others’ children; be friendly.
Try not to be opinionated about everything, practice quietness.
When someone finishes talking, don’t always try to have the last word.
Don’t look for your happiness in people; you will set yourself up for disappointment.
If someone is rude, respond in loving manner yet make your point.
If someone is difficult, the answer is not to avoid them but to practice gentleness with wisdom.
Don’t let others decide for you; learn to decide for yourself, good or bad.
Don’t let people change who you are in any given circumstance; keep your peace at all times.
Let people be who they are; it’s not your duty to correct them; let them figure it out, correct yourself.
If someone is not listening about doing the right thing; let them make their own decisions and learn from their mistakes.
When giving a gift don’t expect anything in return you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Not everyone feels the same way as you do. Practice freedom of choice.
When someone hurts you don’t stay in pain because he/she may not realize the situation. Look to God, get delivered and experience peace.

    Practical Hatred

Wouldn’t it be funny if we were to gauge ourselves to see if we hate anyone? If this question was posed to someone, the answer most of the time would be “No, I don’t hate anyone.” But do you know the real truth is that we all hate in one way or another. Sometimes, it is the way we react to things right away, emotional feelings, or even holding back in our expressions.

I was reading the other day and came across some reading material one of my good friends gave me on things God hates. I was shocked to think that even God would hate anything because I always thought of God as a loving and forgiving God. The further I read, the more I felt a release in my heart knowing that it is acceptable to hate some things. In the following, I present some of the examples to sum up the core of it.

First thing God hates is pride, because Proverbs 11:2 when pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.  Secondly, God hates a lying tongue, because good relationships cannot be built without honesty. Thirdly, God hates the feet that are quick to rush into evil, because Proverbs 29:11) “A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.”

Often, we end up hating the person who commits these transgressions rather than the offenses. As I said earlier, we are all guilty and most of the time we don’t even realize that we are in the hate mode because we are so used to it. We must recognize these instances to become a better person. It will not only do good to ourselves but will inspire others to do the same. As Mahatma Gandhi said, “the change must begin with you.” Let us together stop any hatred toward people and make a change by despising the impure things even God abominates.

    Chemicals in Food

Chemicals in foods are very common in the U.S. Without chemicals the grocery stores can’t keep the food products in healthy condition. The foods will spoil without any chemicals that may help keep them fresh.

There are various reasons why we are facing this issue and have become more adaptive to this lifestyle of eating foods that contains chemicals. First and foremost, time has changed where our lives have become so busy that we don’t go grocery shopping every day. Versus earlier period women who went to the market for their daily food needs.
