Intimacy refers to the state of being that is most private and personal in a relationship. It depicts a special quality of emotional closeness between two people in which both are constantly alert and responsive to the fluctuation of feelings and to the well being of the other.
A sense of warmth, safety, relaxation, and sexual pleasures lovingly shared together. Signs of love freely given and received followed by mutual responsibility and care.
Mostly, to understand and be fully understood by the one who cares deeply.

Intimacy is a must in any relationship. Specially if you are man, without it there is no point in keep going.
Now I am getting something to agree with a woman! For us men intimacy is the most important to keep the relationship going, I take the liberty to speak on men behalf on this matter.
