My first day in an American college was fraught with difficulty. When my dad dropped me off, I felt so confused. Still, I had my schedule with me and I was ready to start with my first class.
As I made my way to the first class, I was surprised to find out that all the class schedules were changed. I quickly ran back to the main office building to get help. Struggling with my English, I explained about my situation to the help desk woman. She was so helpful and printed my new schedule.
Running around the campus I finally located all my classes. Even though I was late for my class, I realized one thing: confidence is the key to everything. It starts with as little as finding your way around the campus and slowly you make your way to higher levels in life.

I still feel lost on my campus. I think I am going to have to grow up soon and really do this confidence deal.
