Awkward Times

stonesAwkward times are when one cannot help the situation but only feel awkward. To illustrate, when an individual talks bad about someone without any realization, a child may hear it. He then may go tell the person being disparaged.

Sometimes, it is hard to control emotions and how one feels. As an example, when someone says something out loud in the midst of a group of people without realizing it. Likewise, in the child scenario, where the child goes and tells the person in question, which creates an uneasy feeling that leaves one silent.

Personally, when I am talking to friends, every now and then I blurt things out and barely notice what I have said. It is not that my friends wouldn’t like me after this incident; it is more a sense of nervousness and embarrassment.

In my opinion, most of the people go through this emotion; however, their approach may be different in dealing with it. For instance, one may use an empty room to say what they need to, and others may just smile when they find themselves in the distasteful clash.

To summarize, we all face awkward episodes where nothing can be said to improve the situation. And yes, it does make someone feel uncomfortable but laughing can work as the ultimate solution to alleviate the awkward situation.
